The testing phase is now over and tomorrow we go live with the first Twitterville challenge. I’ve not decided exactly what the theme of the challenge will be but I have two or three great ideas, all of which will see the light of day over the coming weeks.

There is still a little bit of work to do on the site. The list of tweets needs more options for filtering and sorting before it is really useful and I need to update some of the tweets with Knowledge levels (e.g. Common Knowledge, Gossip, Uncommon Knowledge or Secret Knowledge).

One problem has been discovered in the testing. At least one persons tweets do not appear in Twitter’s search. This is not just #Twitterville tweets, all their tweets are excluded from the Twitter Search. The person’s concerned has not blocked their tweets so why this is the case I don’t know. It might be a bug in Twitter’s search or some feature I’m not aware of.
